Loans, returns and reservations

The due date for ongoing loans has automatically been extended until August 14th.

Other rules might be applied on interlibrary loans, loans from other libraries. These loans may need to be returned.

Are you leaving Chalmers? Don't forget to return your library books! The book drop at the Main Library is always open and you'll find it at the left side of the main entrance at Hörsalsvägen 2.

It's also possible to send the books by mail. Please use this address:
Chalmers tekniska högskolas bibliotek
412 96 Göteborg

It is not possible to check out books or make reservations during the closing time. Your current reservations remain on your behalf so you can retrieve them when the library has reopened.

Extended access to e-books and e-journals

Many publishers are offering temporary free or extended access to e-books and other e-resources to help those institutions who are transitioning to distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The library is putting together a list of e-resources.

In addition, some publishers offers help by giving access to individual titles to those institutions who contact them with information about their needs. Please contact support.lib@chalmers.se if there is any resource that might help you, and we will investigate the possibilities for access.

If you have articles ready for pick-up at our libraries, you can contact us and we will send the articles by mail shortly.
