One Book One Chalmers: The Power
On November 15th, "One Book One Chalmers" - OBOC - was launched. All of Chalmers - students as well as employees - will be given the opportunity to read the same book, and to join activities related to the book. The first OBOC book will be "The Power" by Naomi Alderman.
This autumn and winter, Chalmers Library in collaboration with JÄMK (the Equal Rights Committee of the Chalmers Student Union) will start "One Book One Chalmers" - OBOC. We have chosen the book "The Power" by Naomi Alderman. We hope that as many people as possible want to join us and read it, and also discuss the book in the book circles that we will organize.
The book will of course be available to borrow at Chalmers Library, both in Swedish and in English.
So who can read the book?
Everyone who studies or works at Chalmers are welcome to join us in reading and discussing "The Power"! And since OBOC will be running until spring 2020 you won't have to read it right away in November. Take your time - for example, maybe the Christmas break will be a good time for you to read the book.
We will organize book circles during the autumn and winter - some will be at the Main Library at Campus Johanneberg and some will be at Kuggen at Campus Lindholmen. You don't need to register in advance.
