QS World University Ranking
QS Ltd. publishes this yearly list which bases its scores on a mix of surveys and quantitative data. Prior to 2010, the list was a joint venture with Times Higher Education (THE).
About the list
QS World University Ranking is broader and more current than for example the Shanghai list. Half of the indicators are based on surveys and the other half quantitative data. Universities with broad educational offerings also score higher than specialized ones.
