Printing and scanning
Printing at the library
The library has several computers directly connected to the library’s printers for Chalmers students. For example, you can find printers for color printing and larger formats, such as A3. The public cannot print at our libraries.
Printing from Your Own Computer
As a student, you can also connect your own computer to Chalmers’ printing system.
Complete information, instructions, and technical assistance are available on the Service Portal via the following links, login with Chalmers ID (CID) required:
- Connect your Mac to Chalmers printers

Scanning
If you need to copy a document, use the “scan to email” function on the library’s color printers and then print the document.
How much can I scan from printed journals and books?
According to the Copyright Act for literary and artistic works, you may copy/scan smaller parts of literary works and journals as a private individual.
For teaching, the Higher Education Agreement with Bonus Copyright Access applies.
