Extended opening hours on weekends during exam weeks
During weeks 21 and 22, it will be possible to use our study places in the Main Library and Chalmers Learning Common at Kuggen even during the weekends.
How does it work at Kuggen?
Kuggen will have extended opening hours on Saturdays and Sundays between 07:00-22:00 during the weekend: 2025-05-24, 2025-05-25 and 2025-05-31, 2025-06-01.
Access to the premises in Kuggen during the extended opening hours applies to all students and employees at Chalmers, as well as GU students whose education is located at Campus Lindholmen. You can enter the premises with your key card or student union card.
The information desk at Kuggen is unstaffed during extended opening hours; therefore, it is not possible to loan and pick up reserved books, for example. However, as usual, you can book our group study rooms, make printouts, and use all our study areas to study individually or in groups.
Opening hours on weekends at the Main Library
The Main Library is open on both Saturdays and Sundays between 11:00-15:00 during week 21 and 22. The information desk is staffed, and you can borrow and pick up reserved books, book group study rooms and more.
Note, the library facilities are not accessible beyond the stated opening hours during weekend hours.
