Scopus – a multidisciplinary abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature – will be shown for simple ways to do a comprehensive search for literature and refine the results using facets. Further, it will present features to analyze results and track for publication trends, terminologies, journal information, subject areas, highly cited author or paper etc.           

Optimizing the impact of research publications in the era of open access and social media

This workshop is open for all doctoral students and will focus on the factors on developing a publication strategy for an individual as well as research group. The workshop is a combination of shorter lectures and hands-on exercises.
